  While the Battle Pass remains they have not really listened, it will carry on bringing in what players don't want, a victory here does not change that. While this is a good result next time what EA will do will just be less of a liberty. There is only one direction here.

  They must have been worried players would dump the game. No they didn't take the feedback to heart more like they were scared the game would lose enough players they might actually make less.

  Always the same song and dance with every publisher/developer: "We could have handled it better" when they knew people would hate the change in the first place, but they wanted to see exactly how predatory they could get before they started losing money.

  Pretty much the tried and true statement when they get called out for excessive greed. Queue the blaming aww shucks it was bad communication, we take full accountability, that was our bad etc etc etc.
