So double down and tank the company you spent billions acquiring? That's your solution? Pure genius for sure.

The acquisition was horrible in the first place.  That is on Microsoft leadership.

As for gutting it, yes, they should.  The IPs have  suffered every year under Activision.  The leadership needs to go, the designers need to go, the group think people need to go, the lazy workers need to go, any person that signs a survey  that thinks the company is going in the right direction should be fired.  Anyone that hired the overseas programmers and CS needs to go.

Blizzard needs heart back in the company.  Something that you can only get from dedicated employees that want to work on something great.  I can guarantee you that for every person that actively works on Activision games there is 40 standing around.  The company is bloated and needs to be aired out.

Guys, we have had too many posters get banned for talking politics, especially if a political argument of some sort starts. I am so fed up of that, please steer clear of it as we need good posters like yourself's on here.

We don't need a nanny wagging her finger at us to play nice.

If people want to get banned then let them, but it's not like MMORPG staff can afford to ban people over minor offenses because there's barely enough people here for the spam bots to advertise to.

I have never been called a nanny before but so be it. :)

I think we do need to remind posters about this, I agree with you that these are minor offences that should not result in bans, but they do. I am fed up to the teeth with us losing people, I have to say something or once again another good poster could be gone.

I have done political posts before myself and I am sure I will do them again, do tell me when I start, it can be hard to stop.

So this comes from the heart, I am not trying to have a go at people just trying to keep them here!

Well, in there eyes something great is happening.  The company has seen record profits, most of which they attribute the the aquisition of activision.  Just because the game is not clicking with you, does not mean others do not find it enjoyable.  Me, i only play wow classic as i am not a big fan of the new stuff either.

I'd fire the lot of them, they're doing a real crap job. Seriously do an Elon Musk, if the original game was made by less than 50 people and was way better than the game today, it's obviously not the amount of people that make a game good.

After seeing the latest cinematic, I stand by this statement 1000 percent.

Has nothing to do with rather or not the game is clicking with me.  This is about the purchase.  67 billion will take over 30 years to realize at an annualized profit at 2 billion a year.  That is  math.  The growth isn't that great or the potential over the next 10 years.  Microsoft has started to drive a faster development pace, but  these IPs are old.  And if they wanted to start new IPs they could have done that internally.  Blizzard doesn't have anything tangible other than the IPs.
