    wow is not a 'weekend game'. The barrier to entry is so damn high. Hell, you gonna spend 2 days just installing enough mods to be able to play..

    I haven’t played WoW since launch 20 years ago but visually it seems the same. If it appeared a different experience I may be more tempted.

    I agree the art direction is the same but the engine has been upgraded a few times. If you look at side by side screenshots of vanilla at launch vs retail now it's pretty dramatic.

    I won't return as long as there's a mandatory sub.  I feel like I should be able to level up to the last expansion purchased at least.  Renting my characters just isn't appealing with so many other game options out there.
