That fight where they almost all died and the tank did was exciting. That was enjoyable would love to play but not keen on the PvP. I don't think this game is for me but it looks to be shaping up to be a good one.
Ya I love team dynamics like that. I hope the Bard gets a solid DPS augment. Each class gets 4. The stream they showed off skills from two of the augments. 2 more to come.

I don't care what game takes me back to tab targeting, team dynamics of tank, DPS, Healer, support. Been waiting for a game of that style for way to long.
I'm not into hour long videos but did they settle on Tab target combat?  Last I heard they were trying for some mashup of twitch and tab which seemed like a nightmare to balance.

I kind of lean toward the Tab target myself as it's a lot more forgiving.

Tab target in the main game play style. There is some (what they call action skills) like skills that target an area. Or a directional cone attack. You can also play in redicul mode but it's designed 95% to tab target. The action side of it did not really work as the base game was designed for tab targeting from the start. It come down to letting you move while you cast/attack.

What will matter is what every player thinks of the game at proper launch, so I do wonder at any praise or denunciation a game gets before then.

Mind you I will still wind you up about SC, its what you are here for. :)

I already have my feelings on this. Its a pvp forced game and extremely late to the game. By funding for years by using paid alpha testers. Any fresh idea they may have had for the game has already been stolen.

Which one is less likely to ever truly release, Ashes of Creation or Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen?

Pantheon as I'm not sure they make it to 2025.

Slapshot1188 speaks the truth. Pantheon has been released on some level and you can play it now if you have $50 bucks. My guess they won't have enough money to keep the lights on for long. Ashes is at least 2 years away. They are doing a real Alpha 2.
