I'm surprised the delay is that short. Thought it would be delayed until 2026 at least.
Why?
Given how long it was already in development hell, I guess I was either more surprised they were trying to give a serious release date or that its still not in development hell. Then again, all of this will remain to be seen. I think it was supposedly close to being released in the past before it entered development hell.

It’s been with The Chinese Room since 2021. I’m thinking they used a lot of the assets from Hardsuit labs and that saved them time.

I wish instead of more endings they worked in the combat a little more
When compared to the first game the combat is fine. When looking at the gameplay reveal at no point did I think I was looking at the successor of the first game.
That’s what I think they should work on.
Of course people said that of Baldur’s Gate 3 so what do I know

Actually you know quite a lot because generally the best way to ensure the success of a franchise is to develop and build on past successes.
"Additional polish" means they were previously sure it was totally fine to ignore all the player feedback because they just somehow knew people would love it once they got their hands on it. Then the focus groups and beta testers informed them otherwise.

I wonder if this is true as the “downvotes “ for their gameplay reveal outnumbered the upvotes.
