  I love upgrading my tech as much as the next person. I'm a sucker for getting new PCs years before I need to or signing up for faster internet than I know what to do with.
  
  However the one piece of tech I never feel the need to upgrade is my keyboard. I've been rocking the same one for 10+ years(Razer brand of some kind) and there is seemingly no worthwhile innovation to tempt me to change.
  
  I wonder how lucrative the keyboard industry is with the belief that their products last so long and rarely need to be replaced.

  umm it might be OK to retire your old board. I thought the same thing as well and was happy using my Logitech g17+ for years as it was a well built mech KB, but making the leap to magnetic switch KB is worth the jump now. The fact you can change the actuation point is a game changer in some games. Not to mention the way higher polling rate. Everything is just snappier and faster, even typing with the right settings.
