Stars Reach has officially held its first pre-alpha playtest. Playable Worlds has a new blog focused on two key elements in these early stages of testing: the camera and movement.

I mean at least they are being transparent about where they are at in the development process and showing it; and they haven't asked for money from consumers so that's a plus.
I get ya, I'm not interested in testing either, but added it to my wishlist on Steam for the time being.

Oh, we are way past that stage of development. But we are still at that stage of *testing*. We turned off most of the game to do movement and chat testing.
Sure, bruh. Hey, do me a favor and call me in ten years when the game is in the same state as this "test" but is being released and you promise you have the "miracle patch" waiting for deployment, you just need all us suckers to buy the game first.
