It'd be cooler if they would get the rights to old star trek games, like the one on the Genesis, and make them playable, even in limited fashion, during this time period.

"IF" I remember correctly awhile back in a posting the Cryptic team, which there isn't many of now since they're mid-transitioning to DECA for STO, stated they don't need the rights to older ships if they build it them selves from the ground up & don't have it exactly the same. That's why lately there have been a few ships released in STO from older games like the Heritage Bundle recently. Unfortunately, STO development will probably be at a snail's pace since transitioning from Cryptic to DECA for a year or a bit longer.

My bad & you are correct. I think I just leaped to the ships since fresh on my mind. & if not including the ships then why post about another old Star Trek game(s) that has nothing at all to do with Star Trek Online nor Cryptic/DECA studios.

He's talking about adding the old games into STO as like arcade games to play inside STO.
