The PS4 should have been phased out 2-3 years ago.
This is always the issue with Square. Tomb Raider sold like 3.5 million copies in 2 weeks and it didn't meet their expectations either.
Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
yeah im sure putting ff7 or ff16 on xbox would make such a bigger splash lol dont make me brg up those final fantasy 15 sale splits LOL.
If squre wishes to go multiplat go for it now u gotta fund everything urself LOL GOODLUCK.
well ff16 on pc now lol could not even break top 110 lol... u pc kids dont support games stop it. one of the top played games on steam right now is a game called banana
Listening yet, Square?
I really don't understand where these high expectations came from. Anyone could have predicted this. The real fans of Final Fantasy do not want games like this.
I know FF14 players worship Yoshi-P as a god, but I feel like his understanding of the magic of the franchise and his ability to produce a good game are extremely overrated. He may be good at getting the job done, but that doesn't mean he creates a good product.

This is why AAA studios keep releasing the same kinds of things over and over, with as much risk aversion as possible. They want guaranteed big money. But, frankly, the actualy GAMERS get sick of being fed basically the same experience over and over again, no matter how pretty.
So, just accept your profits, and be content with it. And if you want to be the "next big thing", you're going to have to go out on a limb CREATIVELY (not just by throwing more money at it for the prettiest new thing). Gamers are more diverse, and probably smarter than they give them credit for being.
