if it is not an mmo and not have a hardcore mechanics in it(pvp, pirates, pack stealing, trading) , it is trash.
    Welcome to the forums!

And don't hold back now. :)
Does it have zombies?  If not, definitely trash.

Besides a fly by of a ship docked, and a quick shot of a wagon.......I did not see jack nor sh1t showing anything I would look for in a sequel to AA!  I very much doubt any of those aspects are there, and that is just XL giving the middle finger once again to everyone!  I could give 2 sh1ts about some action combat if I can't make upwards of a 100 different classes (220 was just too many =P).

I don't care about land and housing and making a 'organic' town if I can't get together with my guild and take the stuff they grow and put in packs to take to 'market'.  Housing was only a cornerstone because of the gameplay it facilitated.  I want to contest and be contested at world bosses, have major ship battles, raise ship wrecks from the bottom of the ocean.....just nah

We all know by now about all the drama and controversy surrounding the original Archeage: Missmanagement, land hacks, dual wield credit card meta (aka p2w)... still, no other game offered so many great experiences and rememberable moments, and I was more of a casual player. I will play Archeage Chronicles for sure.

I remember all of this very well even still, my heart sank the day those Thunderstruck Tree lootboxes launched in the cashshop.

There was so many things i forced myself to overlook up to that point, because i was having an amazing amount of fun with my guild, but man... those thunderstruck tree lookboxes.... that was it right there.

It's gonna be like The First Descendant or Destiny probably. Instanced semi-open zones and then instanced dungeons/raids where you can play with up to ~8 people. I would be amazed if it kept any of the features that made Archeage unique: trade pack runs, fully open world, ship combat, piracy, open world player housing, etc.
