Due to the devastation from Hurricane Helene in North America, and in particular, the United States, the Final Fantasy XIV development team has decided to pause automatic housing demolition for now.

    smart PR move that doesn't really cost them anything other than the fractional increase in storage cost which is temporary.

    It is a clever move, but I think we would be being cynical if we put this down to just PR. We see so much PR in gaming that response can become a knee jerk one. :)
