I could not believe it, but they somehow managed to make the game even worse.

As someone who has played this a long time I would say I have had the opposite reaction. Feel free to specify what you hate about it.

Had a decent bit of fun earlier, the combat and movement in general feels a lot better I think.
But with so many games coming out soon.. I feel my time will go to something else soon.

They decided to move more towards RPG genre. Namely Voice acted NPCs, cutscenes, story quests. And that is good.

But what actually happened is that they somehow managed to make the story worse and less understandable than even the mess they had before. And instead of hiring proper voice actors that add immersion to story they gone for what sounds like Alvin and Chipmunks squeaky cheap voice humour. So cringy that instead immersing yourself and enjoying the story, you have to skip quests because you can not listen to them.

Maybe the game is now aimed at 9 year olds ?

As for the rest, nothing actually changed except that combat is even easier now to cater to console crew, and graphic is downgraded.

So what did we get? Whole lot of nothing + super cringe voice acting and mess of a story.

So far it's not bad, but it feels like 99% the same game.

Swimming, a more colorful and diverse cast of NPCs, a few more visual options for character creation and fresh servers with fresh players. Guess it's not bad for a week or two of fun and nostalgia.
