I for one would love a Reboot MMORPG where you got to fight Hack and Slash...

I can't think of any mmos out like Diablo 2 except maybe umm Shadowbane. Didn't shadowbane use hack n Slash type gameplay from a 2D overview perspective? Maybe someone else can comment that has actually played Shadowbane.
I'm sure that you are already aware of the new Diablo type adventure game being released next month "Titan Quest". While it is not an mmo, it does look like it is a very high quality game and just might satisfy the Diablo hack n slash thirst in you.

hack n slash? You mean like Gauntlet? Where you get a few friends over with a case of beer and hit the a and b buttons and beer bottles till you pass out?
Is that like smashing the attack buttons until 1) they break/wear out or 2) your fingers begin to bleed?
If so then Shadowbane isnt hack n slash. I dont think I've played a hack n slash MMORPG. Is there one?

Everyone has their opinion about it, but it's certainly worth a try if you have not played it.
Dungeon Runners is meant to operate on this model. I'm not going to get into the whole MMORPG definition, but its a MMORPG in the sort of vein Guild Wars is, but it will have a Diablo play model and the whole thing. Apparently, it's going to be free to get, free to play (no monthly fee), but you'll pay for extra content like new dungeons and stuff.
It's not out yet though, done by the same people who do City of Heroes et al.
but... it won't come out for a while.

whats so funny is all the new spawns of DF fanbois seem to fit that game to about everything..like it cures friggin cancer or something.
anyway, you want a good hack slash game just check out the numerous asian picks like Risk Your Life, FF XI, Lineage 2
those will give you your hack/slash fix
as for darkfall.. good christ man that games been projected longer then everquest 2, world of warcraft, Eve, and Dark and Light have been in every phase of beta and post release. when/if the game does come out expect it to suck like a kirby and be dated like your mom

next year when the game is still not in beta, you can tell nubs just like yourself what I just said. hell this has been goin on since 2002.. get a clue
