    I think this probably goes without saying. Rivals has done a lot of press and events and appears to be a legitimate contender to Overwatch.

    I think the only concern for lotter shooters is that they are yet another looter shooter, an issue every genre is now suffering from.

    Marvel rivals is so much better than overwatch that I can never see myself playing overwatch again once rivals is out.

    That is true ...but Marvel Rivals and Concord are Hero Shooters.

    And the market for Hero Shooters is quite thin with the death of Concord, the death of Paladins and near death of Xdefiant.

    With the Marvel license they be able to find players outside of Overwatch and Valorant.

    How was this ever a question? Concord was an uninspired, unfun, obvious cash-grab without a familiar IP to grab interest.

    Marvel Rivals is, well, a Marvel game, and by all accounts, it is actually fun and well-made.

    Who in their right mind would ever compare the two? Possibly some corporate suit who got worried when they noticed that the two games share a genre, but I did say "who in their right mind."

    Hopefully it will be better received than Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. It's possible to screw up what should have been a success.
