Always combat...every video I see from them is just combat. Looks like a big very boring sandbox imo.

I know you are just being facetious but there actually are Artisan classes such as Herbalism where folks will be picking flowers, processing them and crafting with them.

With the latest NDA removals, having a recent / updated in depth Artisan crafting video to go along with all the combat videos doesn't seem a bad idea. Right now there are outdated crafting videos from last year and some recent videos barely touch the surface.

Obviously its all subject to change but crafting to many is a key component of sandbox style games.

Yeah I saw some people cutting trees and picking flowers along their gameplay. The typical and welcomed mmorpg/survival/living game stuff.

Combat is what you do most in a video game but they have shown everything from raids to dungeons to killing trash in the game. Even questing.

This is comedy but really. I went to aoc reddit and some people are happy how devs are making time and effort to release new updates.

Now...which updates you may ask? Well, story goes like this:

Dev: Mount speed 130, delete 0, put 5, make it 135, click update.
People: Omg, they really care about up, much progress was made in last 7 days.

Im like wtf is wrong with those people. Devs didnt even finished 5% of game, just showcasing very small areas of map, tons of cosmetics (of course), some unfinished features and people are happy that devs needed over 7 years to make this "alpha".

ArcheAge 2 started developing later then aoc and have alot more of features and it will be released much sooner then aoc.

Ya was going over the patch notes and they are extensive. Feedback in the A2 forums, they even addressed people concerns for things that were not game breaking, like a few requested inverted mouse settings and it was added. Allot of QoL items. Im impressed.

I'd like to see this game be released as any sandbox game is a welcome addition to the ecosystem. I just worry that fan engagement seems to be a bit waning and the excitement over this upcoming test is far less than it's predecessor in 2021. It feels like it's losing momentum (however that is just my feeling and not based on any empirical evidence).

In any event I hope people have a blast and their test showcases how far they have come.
