  I have been playing for about 6 hours straight on a server with all the phases working properly, for saving stanton event. While fighting the idris, the server was noticeably struggling but I never got disconnected and all the AI was behaving better than I have witnessed before. Overall I am pretty stoked. I have been waiting awhile to let it cook. I don't wanna spoil it during testing but I do like to see how its shaping up. Still optimistic

  In all seriousness, I do own the base game with a starter ship and I WANT it to succeed. But considering how long it's been in development and how far it remains from an actual launch, I can't justify spending much time on in. Particularly, the fact that there are still resets.
  
  I know there IS some fun to be had, but I don't like the idea of losing all my progress semi-regularly. I'm more a "progress-oriented" player who enjoys the gameplay but needs some purpose. Hopefully they get to 1.0 sometime in the next 5 years.

  Agreed. I have what I consider an absurd amount of money sunk into the game which was all invested back when I had much greater optimism and enthusiasm about it. That aside more than once they have completely overhauled the flight physics. I'd rather not learn whatever that is now only to have them change it again. I'll wait until some sort of actual release.
