Whoops. You forgot to mention the giant elephant in the room. How can this possibly exist with an already niche game? Certainly, they would love to see everyone move to this new model but oops... they already have a game with over 20yrs of player investments that many will not simply throw away and jump on this new bandwagon.

As MUCH as I would LOVE for CCP to be successful I can't help but think "Have you not learned from you mistakes?" "Stick to what you are good at?" EVE Online is extremely successful but yet they always seem to forget that want to make something big and new and its never worked out....

EVE Frontier looks and sounds like a bland, empty iteration of EVE Online. One where they didn't have to actually develop quests, stories, infrastructure (structure of ANY kind?), or improve on the visuals and mechanics of the original.

Seriously, what even IS this game supposed to be? You wake up in the middle of nothing and they want the players to PROGRAM the game for them? Because it sounds like if you just want to be a player, it has NOTHING to offer. Nothing to do, no progression, no purpose.

Their explanations are all devoid of detail and so vague you can't extrapolate anything from what they're saying. All this using the bloxkchain nonsense so they don't need to maintain servers/databases sounds like a lazy money grab.

The trap is around the 4 min mark of the video where they talk about converting your open souce creations, currencies and services into "real world" value.

This is web3 crap where the main enticement is to try and make money from selling NFTs, no matter how much they are trying to cover up this fact.

Politically motivated trash writing..Blockchain is just a technology. It's not a bogeyman. The reason it's so contentious is because it proposes to solve current issues with global financial and payment systems. Dissapointed that MMORPG supports this biased crap
