Does a card game even need a new game engine? The first one was excellent, crossed fingers for this when it actually launches.
Maybe not, but if I recall, Unity had tried to introduce some per-install pricing model (someone can correct me if I'm mixing up engines), so even though I believe the model change was walked back, the engine change may be a reaction to that whole controversy.
