Well the trailer says "In development for PS5" at the bottom, so I think we can assume a PS exclusive. Exclusivity is a really stupid direction to go these days as there's not a single title out there so big that people feel like they simply MUST buy the hardware that goes with the exclusive. This certainly won't be. It really puts the developer behind the 8-ball as far as profitability goes since their audience is now limited to one device, and at the same time doesn't really work as far as the goal of getting people to pop for the hardware. We'll probably see a PC port a year after launch.

That being said the production values of the trailer are really excellent. The animation quality is on par with Disney/Pixar/Dreamworks. Someone spent some money making this trailer for sure. Unfortunately it shows zero gameplay, so who knows if the game is any good. We'll have to wait, but if I were to guess this will be a game similar to Star Wars Jedi series. I say that solely from the 5 seconds of action we see right at the end which could not be representative of the gameplay at all.

Horizon Zero Dawn took more than 3 years to make it to PC. I think one year is a tad optimistic.

You're probably correct. Horizon Forbidden West was 2 years, though, so maybe not 3. Anyway, this game still won't be enough to convince me to go buy a PS5 which is what Sony is hoping for by making it exclusive.

Oh boy. This will certainly be one of the games ever made.

All I see so far is a box ticking exercise, that does not ensure we will get a good game, so we shall have to wait and see.

The trailer is very pretty for sure, but it was boring, or at least didn't pique my interest. My take away is that this is Sony's Jedi Survivor knockoff with more expensive graphics. My guess is that this is a strong candidate for Sony's PS6 launch title.

Eh not very interested in this one tbh.....this one however has my interest:

    Maurgrim

Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.

Same. Honestly, the most exciting announcement of the show for me was Project Century. RGG does not miss.

Yeah that does look interesting, kind of reminds me of this tv show I enjoy:

I must admit I tend to give a game leeway for that sort of issue, but sure it did not grab me.

Someone pointed out to me that they were glad ND was at least doing something that isn't Uncharted. They just hope ND learned from their TLOU2 blunder and focus on making character connections and a satisfying story.

Because everyone has fast food containers on their spaceship far out in the void.

Wanna bet the soundtrack songs are Sony releases?

I did see a lot of real world company ads in the trailer.  I don't mind playing an rpg that has ads and commercials for the fake in game companies but I do mind being subjected to the same from real world companies like we saw in the trailer.

What a horribly unlikeable character. Among other things, her personality has me checked out.

Let them keep losing money making games for the "modern audience", they will learn eventually

I think it make sense for the character to keep a shaved head. More practical for combat and dealing with equipment.

Far too many books, films, games, require supposedly smart people to do incredibly dumb things, because lazy writers couldn't figure out other ways to get from A to B in their narrative.
