    I find it quite hard to understand that they have worked for 10 years on the game and this is all they got to show for :o

    Well, for what it's worth, it's not a continuous 10 years on this version. It's multiple restarts. Which to me points to not having a good initial plan/outline.

    We are indeed. We’ve got three people in game right now, and I’ll be checking it out myself here this weekend in between finishing our Marvel Rivals review.

    I was one of the few original backers of the failed Kickstarter.   When that failed I kind of checked out from following it closely.  I’d peak in every so often, see the ridiculous prices of the backer packages and move along.  I kept a flame burning that one day this would be a deep PvE game I could get lost in for a long time.  

    Then they had the open beta a few months back and I got to see what existed after all these years .  It was horrible.  Honestly it probably would have been considered horrible if it released 20 years ago.

    Login, kill laggy, poorly animated young bats and rats…. Nothing at all that said “Hey this is worth the wait! It does x y or z better!!! “. Nothing, zero…

    Embers was not the greatest game but it’s light years ahead of whatever this game is.

    But is it? I logged into Embers Adrift and found myself on a long road killing bunnies and deer.

    I remember the kickstarter and I didn't give precisely because they showed "0" game. Just a promise they could do it.

    It wasn't until I started seeing the world and avatars that I felt they were making headway and I could throw $100 dollars their way.

    Clearly that made no difference. :D

    I tried it because I am having a "I want updated nostalgia kick" and this game fit the bill. Yeah, no. It still has a long way to go.

    I definitely have no interest in this game. It looks like amateur hour to me. Although, I am happy for those that are looking forward to it. I hope it's the EQ successor that some wanted it to be.
