I think 2 things about this:

    1. THIS IS GREAT! What a cool idea, and one that hasn't really been explored at all. It also helps simplify some of the inconvenient "survival" aspects that can get in the way of adventuring.

    2. THIS IS TERRIBLE! Everyone is going to be a ghoul now. It seems to have lots of perks with nearly no downside at all. Aside from needing to balance turning feral (if you are a ranged player), there is nothing but power here.

I'm curious to see what this does to the community amd game. I have a sinking suspicion they haven't thought through all the repercussions of their decision.

The game has become too large for me.....It was well over 100 gigs last time I checked so I had to uninstall it.

I mean "herd mentality", "group think" and other things are routinely discussed now in college and accepted.

I literally heard a Dean of Education say, "well if it gets the job done who can blame you?" He was referring to 3 students doing the job of 1 student years prior.

Everyone just has become accustomed to low IQ people running the show. And with that said, low IQ people literally are followers because they don't have the spine to make a single decision on their own because every decision they make with their limited IQ ends in disaster.

    To me, it's a self-correcting error.

I think this is gonna grab alot of the vets vs newer players like myself. Atleast for me who started a few weeks ago, I have no intention to go Ghoul. But those with the multiple k hours will most likely.

Seems like a rather novel way to introduce a new build / play style.

Still, not enough to get me to come back I don't think.

Now, if you could come back as scorched and hunt down regular players, now we're talking.

Local/free servers. I bought the game, and I love it, but like... twice a year when I can afford to singleplayer it. These types of games are only fun when I can mod, cheat, and alter the actual game. Aside from that, as I've said before, the chat in the game is the entirety of shitty, bad, garbage developer/decisions. No idea how anyone with actual thinking approved nearly all of this shit...

What happens when you try to build a MMO on a low budget.

Tsk, sounds like a rather low IQ welcome to me. ;)

    Maybe something more like this.
