It's that time of the year where we look back on the year that was. While we'll have our general End of Year awards next week, I wanted to take a look at some of the games that impacted me over 2024.

Tencent's Bokura develops Star Resonance for Bandai, SR's scope even goes beyond what BP was
For sure, but I was kind of really interested in the original pitch. I am watching what Bokura is doing, tho.

'But there are many. You can play them entirely solo, and even offline. Also, you are wrong by default.'
Ikcin in response to yours sincerely debating whether or not single-player offline MMOs exist...
'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'
Gdemami absolutely not being an armchair developer
SWTOR is a shell of a MMORPG, Its a CRPG with Online elements. Full of EA's best lottery systems designed to milk its consumer for every dine it has, then steal its parents credit card for more.
I really like Star Wars, but I'm burnt out on it like a lot of other big name IPs. I was much less tired of it when I played and might not enjoy it as much now. The game play/combat, class stories, and side quests were still interesting on their own. Strip out the Star Wars and they would still be well written and interesting. I think that is what made it last longer for me.
