When will this game get some good pvp?

in Final Fantasy XI

Will this game ever get some good pvp, like raiding towns of such, and you know just general pvp

Please tell me if they will make the game with what i just described above in the near future

    Almost certainly not. The player classes are not balanced for any kind of open pvp. The current player base got into this game knowing it was a game with no open pvp, and many of them chose this game specifically because of that fact; Square isn't going to be looking to alienate its current player base. There are games with open PVP. FFXI just isn't one of them, and isn't likely to become one of them.

    The closest you come to PvP is Ballista... a competitive form of PvP that takes place separate from normal gameplay. As was said in the previous post, FFXI was designed from the get go to be a cooperative, party-centric PvE game. Unlike other companies (-cough- SOE -cough-) who would do just about anything, it seems, to bring on more players, including adding PvP onto a PvE game, SE is quite satisfied with FFXI's direction over the past 4 years, and going forward. And so are its loyal players.

    So, yeah, if you're looking for an engrossing, deep, detailed and very long-term PvE experience, play FFXI. If your money's reserved for a game with any sort of anywhere/anytime open PvP, then look elsewhere... FFXI will not satisfy you.
