Jedi have to make their own Lightsabers?

I can't believe these dirtbags. They are making new Jedi make their own lightsabers. Could $OE make it any harder to become a Jedi. Sheesh makes one not even want to be a jedi with all this hassel.

    yes you do. before NGE this for a player wasn't much of a set back because by the time you got to jedi you knew the game well. It's not all that bad there are tons of shops on the server I used to play on to buy the materials needed. If it puts noobs off playing a jedi I guess thats a good things as there are too many as it is.

    err.. last time i checked that first gen or was it the training saber... didnt work and hadnt for a good while.

    Starting Pub 29, I believe, they even get handed their first generation LS at Lvl 30.

    Either way, hardly a threadworthy topic, IMO.

    I always thought you should have been able to loot them off dead Jedi. Wanted a collection on my wall too. Hell, the Jedi could keep the crystals and such, I wanted the trophy.

    Wuld have been a hella-fun death penalty since they never visited the cloner anyway.

    Agreed.  XP loss is always a lame punishment, but that would have been great. 

    ...And the Jedi whining would have been out of control.
