So an armored Warrior of Chaos came to me door and handed me a pamphlet on the Church of Tzeentch...

and then proceeded to slaughter my familly? Sorry, I'm kind of new. When the game comes out, I'm absolutely making a Chaos Warrior first. It's like, all my life, I just wanted my face to melt off, to grow a tentical and to go on a mass rampage in the name of utter destruction and now I'm not alone! But I don't want to seem like a noob, I was wondering if someone could give me more information on the Chaos than is offered on Games Workshop's website without having to buy a book. They said that Tzeentch would be the leader of the Chaos in WAR, so info on him and his followers would be helpful but they also said that the entire Panthion from the Chaos Hoarde would be represented, so Undivided Chaos info might be helpful too. Also, Nurgle is the guy I want to follow. Info on him would be much appretiated.

    There are two classic books that are out of print that really gave the best background.

    I'd search limewire or bittorrent for chaos books.

    But in a nutshell..

    Khorne is the Blood God. All about the killing and blood and gore.
    Tzeench is known as the God of Change. He is all about the chaos magic.
    Slannesh is the god of pleasure. Pleasure that goes well past pain. Think S&M to the 20th power.
    Nurgle is the god of decay. Nurgle's Rot is the deadliest disease in the universe.

    anyhow yea thats basically how chaos are.

    i am a little rusty thou. i havent played the table top game in a good 10 years. if they have an attitude anything like the table top game they will most likely hate all life including their own so they live on to destroy it all. lol odd description? only way i can think of describing it

    With Tzenth as the leader...

    Khorne and Nurgle followers will prolly have a very hard time.

    Khorne KoS spells casters usually, which Tzenth and his followers are.  Nurgle is in an unending struggle with Tzenth.

    Slaaneesh is Tzenth ally, in eternal struggle with Khorne...yet, Slaaneesh should rate 18+!

    Oh, and for the record, the Chaos warrior would never have knocked.

    If he was Khorne, the'd have broken it down and slain you.
    If he were Tzeeench He'd have changed the door into a chaos spawn to eat you.
    If he were Slaneesh, he'd have... well... let's just say you would walk funny afterwards.
    If it were Nurgle, the house, you and all its contents would have rotten to nothingness.

    I thought a follower of Nurgle would infect you and you familly with some horrible plauge-like deseise, forming huge boils on your skin from which your insides burst out as strange ooze forcing you to watch as parts of you fall off in a lepper like fashion. That's why I like him. But the turning your door into a demon and having it eat you have me interested now too!

    I believe it's already been determined that the Chaos side will be the followers of Tzeench :P

    They should've gone with Khorne.

    By far the most represented incarnation of chaos, and incidentally by far the easiest to fit in with a MMORPG-players mindset.

    Maybe that's why they went with Tzeentch.
