Most game sites take a few weeks to release a review of a major game.  With a game like Dnl that no one cares about or will play it is questionable whether many of the major sites will even bother to write a review.  I am sure they have much better things to do with their time. Eitehr way it will take much longer to see reviews of DnL than other games because of the lack of interest in the game.

Some even take a few months, a couple of days or one week is not enough for "proffesional" reviews. I also think the big game sites wont bother with D&L because Farlan most likely wont send them an account (becuase the game is total crap & they know they dont stand up to even Everquest 1).
Also the big sites will wonder why SoG=D&L when the pr said it was only a "small fraction" of what D&L really was, this Farlan wont touch with a 10-foot stick.

I have to agree with Zippy. No one really cares that much. In a week or two there may be a small user submitted review but I doubt if any of the regular staff will bother unless they are really lacking for other news to out on the front page. I don't think the game will be around long enough to matter anyway.

    I miss DAoC

You know, Stratics was suppose to have a E3 interview with Farlan but it is still not up in their website.
One of their staff even stated they will drop D&L from their site if his team got run-around for their interview during E3.

When 1 of the Staff stated this in the forums, AD sent him the answer to one of the interviews they sent that was a month old! and still no E3 interview.

Where is Inferno, maybe he can ask some of his old Stratics friends what happened to it ...

While I agree that most likely there will not be a review of DnL in the major game magazines or sites, it is also possible some reviewers won't be able to resist writing such a delicious review. Kind of like how movie critics can't help trouncing some movies... it is just too good to simply let go.

The game can now be played for a few days, and only to poineers. I would not expect any review that really can claim to be valid to be published sooner than in 1 month. Any review coming before that, no matter if good or bad, would be far too unfounded. Better test it 2-3 months to check what is really inside instead of those hot-wired, weak reviews that really not help anyone.

So another fawnboi shill surfaces here spouting the goodness of Farceland/NotProfessional.

I don't need 2 - 3 months, I have over 4 years following Deceit and Lie, it won't get better in the next 2 months.

You sure wouldn't want a Pioneer writing a review, the way they have been shafted on not getting what they were promised. I love how some of the biggest backers (Bobba Fetish for example) are turning on them like a rabid beaten dog.

Is everything for you still a great battle of fanbois and flamers? Sorry, I have no witty reply for you. If you think about something as trivial as computer games still in terms of love and hate, I can only tell ya to grow up, man. I seek information in a review, not emotional expressions, no matter if pro or con. You are so terribly boring me with your childish navel-view "oh-my-precious-emotion-is-sooo-important." *yawn*

You want a review, Elikal, check out the official DnL forums.  If you can't glean enough information about DnL from what you read there to make any kind of judgement call about the game, then no "professional" review will help you.  Good luck.

Can you buy the game right now ? Yes !
Can you play the game right now ? Yes !

So you can review the game. You will review it in the state it is right now, and this review will tell if, yes or no, this game deserves 60$.
I don't buy a game to play it in two or three months. I buy a game to play it ASAP. I'm not a bank, I don't loan money to developpers. I buy a service.

Stratics did have an interview 15.May. 2006:

There is some strange stuff behind it, and they removed DnL from networks.
( some competition thing with AD )

Oh man I am SO disappointed now. I just watched a couple of videos of this game and realized it's true game name: Horizons 2!! This is an updated version of a game with no content, no dungeons, no interest. MAN am I glad I saw the videos first! Horizons tanked in no time, bankrupcy and all that. The game's still active but incredibly limited. Moved everyone down to like 2 shards. Screwed up all the resources. ugh... I'm going to look deeper into this game just out of curiosity to find out if it really is made/designed by the same guys that did Horizons. It's just WAY to similar.
