Is this game worth buying? Is it worth the $14.99 a month? Is it worth spending time playing this game?

While the smart thing to do would be to wait to see what other people say about the game but I see no reason why this would be the time I started to do the smart thing plus someone has to be the Ginny pig. My 4 brothers and a few guys here at work sadly buy way to many games (at least 2 a month for me) but are lucky enough to have good jobs and are able to so we are all going to get the game and will let you know what we think.
Just so you know what type of MMOGs I did and didn't like here are some :
WOW - Loved it for the 1st year but found End game to much an investment in time
SWG - Liked it at first but all the smog from the zillions for factories that covered the land got old
DnDOL - Hated it
UOL - Still like that for some reason
DAoC - Maybe not the best game but think I had the most fun playing that one
WW2OL - Disappointed
AOL - 7/10 just never got into the whole future MMOGs
AA - Like a Xbox game with a million quest - fun to drive around - seems like there is no goal just drive and shoot
Ok there are like another 10 more at least and yes I paid monthly for all of them for at least 3 month and some much longer then that. Anyway I let you know what we think of DnL if means anything.
Well if you don't mind complete CHAOS the game might be something for you.
The developers has said that "it's time now, to release the game" which means the result will not be polished enough and tons of stuff will be missing which will probably take eternities to add due to all the bugfixing which they will need to do. And they will also have to invest alot of time trying to reach out to the wider audiences that everything will be OK soon. Even if it won't they have to have some kind of feedback.
The developers are new to all this so don't excpect everything to be fixed as recently as other games might be.
It will indeed be interesting when this game comes out since I cannot wait anymore to hear all the posts of which will be posted here about the game
Either I will join in on the bashing since the game will be such a horrible nightmare that everyone will commit harikiri or joining the stunned crowds who salute a game which appeared through the thick soil from nowhere. Either one will be just as fun!

As far as i know this game is basically not ready to be launched yet. Way to many bugs and cant get things to go the right way.
The only way I know that this game is going to be good is to see the reviews that MMORPG.com posts about it and other big name sites that I can rely on.

I consider myself having a medium-end machine and I cant barely play the game. 6 fps ftw.
P4 3.4, 1024, 6600GT and so on.
To answer you question, no. I cant possibly see how this game could be fixed anytime soon.
Not worth buying at this time.
Reasons?
-You pay for game with no manual at all. There is a short 14 page quickstart guide that does not even begin to describe how to use the UI or the controls.
- You do NOT even get a free month with purchase. You have to pay $14.99 before you can even log into the game. This is above and beyond the price of the game.
- The graphics are dated, with low frame rates.
- bugs, bugs, bugs, bugs!
- Broken quests
- PvP restrictions are broken. Opposing factions can camp a newbie starting area and gank anyone and everyone.
- Crafting only has novice level. Once you go past that, you can't craft anything at this time.
I am a pioneer. I am not repeating what others say. This is my opinion formed from playing the game since 5-30.
Right now, DnL's domain is down. No website, no communication with launcher, no info. Been that way for over 2 hours with zero communication.
Stay away from this game in it's current state!
