This poll seems to have a close between huntera and a warlock. On the server that I play (Kirin Tor) people tend to go for the paladin and hunter combo. Warlock is very good in the battleground I heard. I never created any caster classes yet only melee (warrior rouge both 60).

I fail to understand what you mean by this but if you mean that the best class a Troll can be is a rogue (note rogue not rouge) then you are mistaken. There is no better class for any class! And no, it is not a fact, it is an opinon.
Anyhow, i voted for Rogue because they are my most favourite. I play rogues/assasin type characters in all the games ive played. Second, i prefer Druid because of shapeshifting (thats so cool) and the fact that they can do many things. I always hunt with my brother, so if we need a tank - i tank, if we need a damage dealer - i can be a cat, if we need a healer - well, you get the point

Yeah, druids are a nice class. My girlfriend plays druid alongside with my warlock. The shapeshifting is very cool. Plus, she's got the heals to keep my mineon tanking forever
I like the Hunter.... I can solo with my pet if I need to.... or have I can have fun with my husband....he's a Warrior. I let him tank and then send my pet in as he wears down, pelt in a few arrows and have the kill.
Locks are nice, you can grind like 2-3 mobs at a time with your void and aoe. Everyone likes rogue cause everyone wants a good dps. People don't like being support classes because there names won't appear in dmgmeters.
Warrior is my favorite because of its versatility.
Healer classes (druid/shaman/priest/paladin) generally only heal during raids. Occasionally a druid will tank/off-tank, once in a blue moon shaman will be asked to DPS, occasionally priests will throw in a couple dots, and once a year a paladin will off-tank boss mob. The healers, if spec'd right, can be effective healers and decent in PvP. But personally I'd go mad if all I did during a raid was spam the heal and decursive buttons.
Melee DPS classes (hunters/rogues) well, they DPS and thats it. Typically a hunter will pull for the raid, which can be fun, but for the most part they just sit there and spam their DPS combos. Booring. But at least they are good in PvP to kinda make up for their mind numbing raid roles.
Caster DPS classes (mage/warlock) they occasionally get to crowd control, but for the most part they just spam their damage spells. As with melee DPS these guys they make up for their lack of flexibility with good PvP ability.
Then we have the warrior. Unlike other classes stuck in one role on a raid, warriors get 3 different roles. We can tank, off-tank, and DPS. Tanking and off-tanking may sound, and even look, like pretty much the same role, but they are unique and different. And of course DPS is completely different from the first 2 roles.
For example: Last weekend in BWL, I kited adds for Razorgore, off tanked razorgore, tanked Vael, off-tanked Broodlord, DPS'ed Firemaw and Ebonroc, off-tanked Flamegor, tanked Chromagus, DPS'ed Nefarian. And during various trash mob pulls I was either tanking or DPSing. Next week, depending on who shows up for the raid, I'm probably going to have a different set of tanking, off-tanking, and DPS assignments. A nice variety.
Now ask another class how they spent their last raid, you'll probably get a two word answer such as "I healed" or "I DPS'ed." The other classes just don't have the versatility of a warrior.
Considering how WoW works, having to run the instances so many times to get everybody in your guild geared up enough to move on to the next tier, I find having versatility keeps the game interesting.
As for PvP...well, a warrior is more gear dependant than any of the other classes, but its so worth the wait when you do finally get the gear. Seriously I've had some just awsomely devistating damage bursts. I've chaged someone, stunning them, had a normal swing crit for 1000+ triggering a sword spec proc which critted for another 1000+ damage, followed by a MS crit for 1400+, followed by a 1000ish wirlwind crit. 4500ish damage before the initial stun even wore off.....and my weapon isn't even as good as the High Warlord/Grand Marshal, weapons. I can't wait to see what I'll do with a really high end weaopn
