Well, is it?

I don't know, haven't played it for some years.
Last I played I loved to run around as a spy or
w/e it was called and knife people to death.
So it would be fun to know if it's still people
playing this game. As I remember it there was
like... What? Maybe 2-3 "big" wars in the
Planetside game-world. Has it changed? Is
it more now then before? Any changes in the
game since I stopped playing it?

Also, I don't know if there's any free trail
for this game (like a buddy-key for 7 days or
something)? If there is, mind posting a link
here or sending me a trail-key in a PM? :)

    At the moment you can have a limited free account, which can only get up to Br6, as part of the reserves program. This is said to be free until about March 2007.

    Because of this new reserve program, there is a lot more people in now then there has been for months (downspirited a bit by the recent events, but still strong.) You won't have any trouble finding a fight at the moment, thats for sure.

    If you want to get a reserve account, just go to http://planetside.station.sony.com/ and click on the dog tags in the upper left corner that say 'Join the Planetside Reserves.'

    You wouldn't be forgiven for playing on and off as thats just how planetside seems to go. Its ok but lacks objectives at high level.

    I resubbed the day before yesterday and it seems buzzing. The reserves mean that its pop locked from 5pm every day and even at 4am GMT there is enough people online to squad up.

    It is becoming a bit more popular indeed, But some people do the moronic thing of running 10 miles to get owned by a tanki, think it sucks, log off, un-sub. N00bs, the lot of 'em, if you run around on a game with Tanks and planes you are going to get killed quite quickly, try grabbing your own transport, it frickin' tells you how! and gives it you! Some people are just daft...
