    You would be better served buying a dead rat in a box for $50 and watching it decompose over a period of several weeks, it would give your more long term entertainment.

    If you have a regular group of players, its a lot of fun, so find a guild early on and get to know them, and you will have a much better experience than with pick up groups all the time.

    My honest opinion:
    The game is fun, as far as it goes.  I wont deny that I have good time when I play (Free trials, I don't subscribe).  The problem with the game is that it doesn't go quite far enough to justify the monthly fee, in my personal opinion.

    I enjoy the game.  If it had a few key components I would gladly pay the fee... but right now it just doesn't offer enough to justify the fee...  Now, if they're going to patch more world in with each module that might make it worthwhile but I've seen no plans of that type.  Everything they've said just expands the number of quests within the original city.  No plans for a 2nd or 3rd or 4th city or a world outside the gates of the city to explore.

    To me this makes the game 'fun' but 'not worth a monthly fee'.

    But that's my personal opinion.  It happens to be shared by 80% or more of people who have played the game but that doesn't mean you won't like it and enjoy it.

    My recommendation is to pull down the 7 day free trial and give it a go BEFORE deciding.  If you like it enough to subscribe then by all means, do so...  Otherwise at least you get to enjoy it for 7 days free of charge.
