how do i swicht the character controlls from my keyboard to my logitech controller?

hi yall i was just wondering how do you swicht the character controlls from a keyboard to a logitech rumblepad2 vibration feedback gamepad controller after the controller is installed on a computer beacuase all ive found out is you cant do it in game but it is one off the recommended controllers for the game on the ffxi website

    Enabling the controller is done from the FFXI config utility.
