I hardly think exposing the bugs, lags, incompatibility, incompleteness, and general overall ametuerish result of 7yrs of development is acting like a teenager. What IS amazing is you keep trying to shove this game down evryones throats and everyone is choking on it. Its a bad game period. No amount of argument is going to change the state of the game. Its a rip off. Its a paid alpha/beta state game. The "fixes" even mess it up more. Its frustrating, confusing, and just not FUN. I am not a ganker, I am not one to sit by the newbie spawn area and declare that killing characters 20+ levels lower than me is FUN. The game is just not FUN! If it was, alot of the little niggly bugs and lags could be overlooked but there is nothing there, its boring. After a few flights and a couple trips on the snowboard, and after you log back in after your attempted balloon ride, thats it. You can only do that so much until you are looking for something else. Its just not FUN. And honestly, SO WHAT?!? I can see a long way away as Im getting killed by a level 5 mob or someone who is 20+ levels above me and I dont know why my skills didnt work. But boy oh boy, I could see a long way off! hmmmphhfff.

I'm still hoping for the best from now until my first month subscription runs out..But If I don't see any major improvements from now until then,I'll simply cancel my subscription and that will be that... Theres no need to flame fanbois for liking a game that in everyone elses opinion sucks.. Its not mature for grown adults to be doing.. ok, played the game again yesterday (and it still crashes when using full screen (1920x1200) or any engine setting higher than 1 btw)
... just a comment about the screenshots before: they are *highly* misleading. the screenies i made (wanted to show a mate how it looks) were ok ... but ... it was impossible to take actual 1920x1200 screenshots. the screenshots the game produces look (kind of) nice, yea, but the sad thing is that every jagged rendering looks nice if you scale it down to 1/6th or so. seriously, this game is miles away from what i would call fit for release. take the quests - tried the 1st one you can get as dark elf ... had to get some feathers ... couldn't find any, so i asked around - the answer (from seasoned players) was: not implemented yet ... the combat system/interface is a nuisance, the quest window interface is outright terrible, the game is slow like glue even on a top computer ... the graphics are indeed really bad (except for some landscapes and some nice moonlight effects) ... the world feels empty and sterile .... i could go on and on and on, but really - this game is NOT ready for primetime, it is maybe late alpha stage, and, politely said, bordering on being a rip-off. it has potential i think, and i might try it a couple more times .... but i feel i'll have a real hard time to force me to play it as long as i'd need to get to a (maybe) more interesting character level at least. too bad really.

That's how I feel too, just that the reason probably you and me will even give it a week is beacuse the world itself and the look of the game is kinda kewl. If they could just get rid of the nonsensical lag and the many broken features, quests and GUI fixed it will be an awesome game. But if they don't fix the Invert Mouse feature by this time next week I'm getting my money back I assure you.

The guy has stuck his foot in as many MMOs as I have, and that's a lot.
So go easy on the 'art, he's just trying to find some up-sides in this whole debarcle. It's just the way he is. He's been around waaay too long to be one of these 'shrills', and is warranted a worthwhile opinion from experiences rendered. Even if his glasses are rosey!
