Argh! I'm trying to create an account, but it keeps coming up with an error. I keep on trying to copy paste it to my brothers japanese program to see the kanji, but it wont let me copy paste. (Japanese program because Chinese and Japanese Kanji are closely related, but don't mean the same thing.
Sorry if my question is newbie like, but when signing up for the account, I don't understand the chinese name and id maker thing. Is there anyplace i can find some help on this? . All I see are some weird - non chinese - symbols for the name and ID maker.

You didnt change the name of the install directory. You probable ended up with something like C:Program FilesNCTaiwan??II?????. Change the weird stuff to english. Should work for ya then.
Yea, thats the problem with the file creation error. When you downloaded the game. Extract it into any folder you want. then use the setup. Click the middle buttonf if you get a flash setup. THen (like the post above me said) change the prompted install folder (with chinese signs) into some like /LineageII
OKie. Got the game patched and ready to go. I cant get the stoopid registration page to work. I have tried alot of stuff to fill out. Plus there are fields on there that are not on the screen shot anymore. Is there anyone who has gotten this to work that doesnt play anymore?? Or offer any help?
Ok Morpfus, what you should do is trying another Taiwan ID. Just keep trying it with different IDs and it should work. As for the new pulldown-menu. I just made a new account and I random selected something from the menu. Doesnt really matter I guess.

I guess many Europeans are relying on Taiwanese beta these days..... as it makes no difference for them whether they choose go for Taiwanese beta or NA beta since both sides of server will be pretty much open for everyone, I assume.
However I'm still not sure whether Taiwanese server will let users with foreign IP keep playing their game once they go P2P.
Do you have any feedback on that?
Because I can't no longer wait for this game... I'm craving to go back to my formal chesty stature.

I dont have any problems connecting and playing. I DO notice that during peak times for THEM I get booted. Find out when the NON-peak times for Taiwan are and you should have no problems. ENJOY!!
You also dont want to P2P for the Taiwan version because youve got the NA coming out soon =D I mean why play a game P2P in a strange language where NPC txts are not readable etc etc ^^
I only check out this Open Beta to get a feeling of other classes then Elf (which im gonna play in NA OB/ P2P). So just see the TOB as an interactive Trailer =P
I installed the client, and did the set up in the folder. However, when I click on the game icon, there is an error saying "Fire Creation Error". I know you said to rename the folder something like "Lineage 2" but I don't know how to change where the file is being extracted to. There is no option in the window. Can you help me fix it?

For those who are currently playing Taiwanese beta, how many servers do they have right now on their side?
15 right now.
And counting I think. When all servers are too long full around peak-times new servers are added.
Hey guys, thanks for the link for the Taiwan beta, I played the Korean beta for a while on my crappy computer which crashed alot.
But now im registering for the taiwan beta, but I have a question.
Whats a good server to join? like which is the most empty? thanks

well the BEST server to join would probaly be server 2 because it has the most amount of English player's but its far from being the empty...
almost all the server are starting to say "full" alot of the time now so im suspecting that NC will be adding some new servers pretty soon
