Hero Online Account dont work

in Open Beta Discussion
i tried making an account but it says the username has to be verified i press the verify button and little  window pops up and says [ID Check]  then after a few minutes it says underconstruction and it wont work! someone help me out here !And i am using INternet Explorer! I need help!?

    Yeah, looks like there's something bootched on their server at the moment.

    I'd say try again in the morning, see if it's cleared up by then.

    I managed to get my account working and my beta key with no problems.. doen it like 2 days ago ;)

    As for the beta key, You can get one from This website somewhere.. you'll see a advertisement on the homepage somewhere ;)

    Heres the link i decided not to be lazy ;), can also get the key from other mmorpg websites it lists on the offical hero online teaser website but im not gona advertise them, mmorpg.com is the best :D

    have enter the site  http://mmorpg.com/hero_beta.cfm but how really we get the key number as there is no other link to get any code  so that we can insert to activate heroonline. appreciate some help, thx.

    yeah im getting the ID check problem, so i guess ill try it again in a while, just curious does it take a few minutes or does it happen  instantly when you confirm your ID?

    umm i read some more, doesnt work with firefox gotta use internet explorer, which i did and things went pretty smooth after that

    Um, I got internet explorer, and it still do not work. I decided to wait a while, tested Silkroad, grab some food, tried again now.....And poff, it does not work

    Beta begins on the 15th June, looks like Silkroad Online, Legend of Ares type mmorpg but ill give it a try.  Also interested in the pet system, always like the idea of training pets and characters.. you get to keep track of 2 stats sets rather than 1 :D

    I used Internet Explorer, had no problem but when it asked for an ID check when i clicked finish at the bottom... i typed what i wanted... it said it was usuable... but i had to type it again in the ID box becuase it did not apear there once i checked to see if it was available.

    When I was using FireFox I experienced the same problems.

    I emailed the GM and he said that using IE would solve the problem and it did.

    Client download will be available on the 12th according to netgame.

    Well, as mentioned before, I got IE. It says "function. --construct"

    Had the same id check problem tried yesterday and today, doesn't work at all, tried sending mail for help but nothing.

    Hope they fix that problem soon.

    I wonder, if the people who weren't having problems before were using IE 7 or not. Havn't upgraded here, and was still having problems, up until I tried it a minute ago. They seem to have fixed whatever bug that was causing problems, and I've got my account set up successfully now.

    Now just need to wait until Monday, since that's when the client download goes up.

    It works for me too now. But after regristration I got a load of crazy Errors, after a while it went OK

    So here are the details regarding this event :

    1. Schedule

    Closed Beta launches on June 15, 2006 (11:00 AM U.S. Pacific Time GMT -8:00)

    2. How to participate in Closed Beta

    Step 1. Receive a digital key from one of the following partners:

    MMORPG.com
    GamersHell
    OnRPG
    MMOSite
    QJ Net
    WarCry
    MMOGInfo

    Step 2. Create an Account HERE

    Step 3. Activate the digital key HERE

    3. Note

    1. There might be some difficulties in the registration process if you use an internet browser other than 'Internet Explorer'.

    2. The official closed beta website and the game client will be available on June 12th, 2006

    3. If you have registered for 'The Legend of Ares', you may use the same Account information for 'Hero Online'. However, a digital key will be required in order to participate in the Closed Beta.

    got mine to work, had to use internet explorer and what not, it did an error when i hit confirm, then i tried it again after i got home from work and it worked fine, it will show your name and ask you to hit confirm in the box then confirm at the bottom, then b4 you can enter beta code you have to go back to the site's home page and log in or it will say you need to use it or something like that then it took my beta code, hope that helps someone, what a pain in the ass but it was free

    You have to use IE it doesnt work with firefox at all.

    Wouldn't work for me in Firefox, worked fine in IE.  Basically with the popup it would tell you if it was used or not.  If it was used, you could click to 'try again' and if it was available you could 'confirm'.
