    Using FireFox browser (ver 1.07) in the ID check initial registration process the ID conform just came up as a blank page and locked out any further advancement in the registration process.
    Then went to Explorer (ver 6.00.2800.1106) it locked up the computer, had to reboot.

    btw. the minimum system requirements for Legend of Ares, could not find a specific sys req for the Hero Online.
    The minimum system requirements are: Pentium 3 700mhz, 128mb RAM, Windows 98, GeForce2 MX, DirectX 8.1, and 1.5GB HDD space.
    The recommended system settings are: Pentium 4 1.4Ghz, 256MB, Windows XP, GeForce MX, DirectX 9.0, and 1.5GB HDD space. link

    Could not find yet if it is broadband only yet. btw, most games specify DX9c instead of the initial version of DX9.0.

    the id-check on the registration page has syntax errors in the javascript code.
    so i'm unable to create an account

    I was able to create an account with Internet Explorer only. The ID check just doesn't work with Firefox.

    I was able to do the ID-Check with IE only too, but at the end the page only replies:

    There was an error, registering the information. Pleasy Try again.

    I've tried 10 times now, it just wont work.

    Maybe it has something to do with my informations? Any Non-North-Americans here who could register successfully?

    Can't see how anyone could be intrested in playing a game developed by some people who even fail such a simple thing such as making the ID Check work in the most used browser.

    I was able to register with no problems. I'm in U.S. and use IE7.

    I'm unable to get the ID check to work with IE.  It will not let me continue to register without the ID check... and yeah, like the other poster, this causes me concern about the game, if they can't even do an ID check that works in IE.

    Also, they spelled female wrong... FEMAIL?  ugh...

    that can only mean one thing: they are koreans. and this brings concern about the translation of the game. -_-'

    upgraded to IE7 stilll doesnt work iv never heard of a company not having a support page thats insane.

    Finally got the ID check to work... now I cannot find where to D/L the game software???

    OK... so they revamped the website... the one from 2 days ago took you to a site with class descriptions and stuff.  Now, it takes you to the download page... HOWEVER... one spot says you can't download until June 14, and another area says it won't start until June 15...

    Erm... there seems to be either a failure to communicate, or a tendancy to play yoyo with dates, pages and such...

    issues... I see issues...

    Maybe my last post on this topic... depends on how torqued I get...

    Another post gives a link to an in-game video for Hero Online...

    I watched the video...

    <sigh>

    I have registered for the closed beta.  The video shows me that it looks like a typical "asian" click-to-move thing... the character movements were kinda nice but the video gameplay didn't look all that impressive to me.

    Also, I'm concerned that the video was all in a language I don't speak or read (Korean?? not sure, since I don't read it)... 

    So, if this beta isn't in English, then why would MMORPG.com put out the open beta keys?  not sure... I'm hoping they have an English version, otherwise I don't want to be a beta tester... how can I comment or even know what I"m doing if I can't read the instructions and other text??? 

    Should MMORPG.com have made a statment about what language the game is in?  well... might have been nice...

    I registered , my problem is now I cant find the download page again since you only get one shot at it when you register your key and cant get back to it afterwards.

    This game is a joke , these guys cant even handle web admin. my 13 yr old nephew can make better websites than those!

    Client download page

    Here you go. I'm not sure if it's your browser, security software, or if they just changed the page or something, but I found it right after going to the login site at www.netgame.com.

    It's funny how when I clicked on the Download Client, the download will be on June 14. I'm not sure about you but it's June 14 today, USA Eastern time.

    I believe their North American distributor is on the west coast, since the first day of beta is listed in Pacific Time, GMT -8:00 (it's 7:30ish AM here right now). Assuming they don't run into problems, I'd guess the downloads for the client will start before or around noon Pacific. The beta itself doesn't start until 11:00 am PDT tomorrow, though, so it's not a huge deal at this point. Granted, a little more information would've been helpful, but who knows what they're doing with servers at this stage.
