also your statement makes as much sense as:

I think i'll contract herpes, just to see how bad it is

  • ValiumSummerValiumSummer Member Posts: 1,008
But then I could make fun of it like the rest of you guys... and with a clear concience.   If it sucks so bad I'd love to try to get its rating back below 4.

    DnL isn't permanent... Herpes is.

    Malaria?

I have a friend who has survived malaria... I think   inoperable brain Cancer would have been a better choice.

I think its worth trying just so you can say you have played the worst game ever made.  I would also imagine for every one person that tries DnL they will tell at least 10 people how bad it is.  If you don't mind losing the money you don't have much to lose.  Thats why I bought Mourning.  The only downside to buying the game is giving a company like Farlan money and encouraging other companies to release bad games.  But you could always ask your CC for a chargeback if you feel the game is not what was advertised or what was promised as many others have done successfully.  If you got a chargeback there would be no harm and the crooks at Farlan would not benefit.  In fact it would even be beneficial as Farlan would actually lose money with the chargeback fees.

There is always the Farlan yes indeed!

It's an awesome game idea, it's just that it's been released and it's still in beta. I actually love the concepts and I have a hang glider now and am going to play for a bit. However if they don't fix invert mouse I'm getting a refund.

Most players do not like paying alot of money to be beta testers along with a monthly subscription to be a beta tester and not knowing for how long they will be beta testers as the production has already taken 7yrs, how long do you think this "beta" release stage will last?

I figure it will be ready for the drooling masses in about 6 months to a year. I do enjoy it though, it's got amazing potential and in fact is very playable right now.

I'd call you a liar, but that would be rude.

Being able to log in is not playable to me.  Being able to fly a glider, but do nothing once you land is not playable to me.

Pioneers can't level but they can travel and craft.  New players can get to lvl 10 then Stooooooopppp..

The game is playabe in the same way as tic-tac-toe online is playable..  It is stable, but it isn't fun, good, interesting (or any other nice adjective I can think of).

After I land my hang glider, I hunt the mobs that I came to hunt. I've seen lots of lvl 20 mobs btw, but they really need to put more mobs in the game. I enjoy it, you hate it like poison. Such is life. It's totally not finished though.

I'm going to make an mmo with nothing but hanggliding and snowboarding. Then everyone who thought they found a reason for DnL to be worth playing can dump that POS and send me their money instead.

If you insist on spending your money, leave it for a month or 2, do not buy now, give it at least a small chance to be better so you can at least get a better picture beyond the launch month blues

The hamsters that keep the server running is getting hungry and they are darn near out of hamster food. The guy down at the pet store figures they are a bad credit risk, and demands cash now. Save a hamster and buy it, the ASPCA will love you for it.

Not to mention the fanbois crack pipes are empty , might want to send them a few bucks also so they can keep posting " DnL had a perfect launch, it is your fault you do not enjoy it"

    I miss DAoC
