Im loving this game. Right now I have a level 7 Ranger/Monk and still in pre searing ( farming dyes) and it is just so much fun. I would imagine once I find a guild it would be better since I really want to get into GvG pvp. Anyways give this game a shot and don't rush it. So far my experience is solo but I'm always keeping my eyes open for good people. My name in game is Axxis Warsong, send me a tell and I'll show you around.

    Waiting on Guild Wars 2

okej so is there kind of many servers to join or do every body play in one massiv server?

so u can combine classes how u whant?

Right, and class combinations are super simple.

You pick a primary class for your character (6 in Prophecies, 8 in Factions), then you go through a series of quests right away to select your secondary class. There are no restrictions at all when choosing your secondary, and every combination works in its own way.

Warrior/Elementalist is a good example of this. Elementalist skills cost a horrible amount, and Warriors have the least energy and energy gain of any class. But, with proper skill selection, the W/E has become very powerful in PvP, using skills that don't cost that much but have desirable effects like knockdown.

Another good example is the Ranger/Warrior I use.Warriors have melee skills, Rangers have ranged skills, so most don't match up too well. But, Rangers can banafit from the stances that Warriors have for defense or increased attack speed, or a Ranger can choose to surrender his bow and pick up a melee weapon instead. Melee Rangers are not very good in PvP that I've seen, but one of the more powerful 4v4 team builds I've seen is designed around R/W with a Warrior elite skill "Victory is Mine!" and traps. It can be hard to kill, and is much tougher than normal.

So, like I said, any primary class can work with any secondary class. You just have to use the character a little differently. Sadly, there are primary attributes for the primary class that you will not have access to if that class is your secondary, so certain skills won't be as effective. But, that's the only downside really.
