I just got my Xbox 360 and seeing as how I have quit all my former MMO's (WoW, CoH, CoV, EQ, and SWG for a short time), I was wondering if it would be worth it to buy this for the 360. It looks pretty fun but I have heard very mixed reviews. I would love an honest opinion.
EDIT: Stupid not working sig...

Um, personally if wouldn't be worth it if you've played it on the PC or PS2 before. If your just starting out in FFXI, then I can see possibly it being a great version to get because you get all the expansions (correct?), and some improved graphics with higher resolution graphics than the PS2version.. The PC and 360 versions are most likely identical, but both are great. You will need a Hard Drive in your 360 to play FFXI, and if you don't then it will cost you around 100 US Dollars for a Official Xbox 360 HardDrive. Xbox Live has nothing to do with FFXI's Playonline so you do not need an Xbox Gold Membership, just a Silver. Friends list and other Xbox Live content does not work on Play Online Services. I guess that a regular USB 2.0 Highspeed Keyboard would work just fine, and you probably have a spare laying around your house. Don't expect FFXI to be a Next Generation type of game like all of your other xbox360 games. Watch out for Dead Rising on the 360 in the Fall, just FYI! Played the newest demo, and its the most least talked about, and probably the best action/adventure game I have ever played for awhile.
Have fun with FFXI!
