    I have registered for the closed beta.  The video shows me that it looks like a typical "asian" click-to-move thing... the character movements were kinda nice but the video gameplay didn't look all that impressive to me.

    Also, I'm concerned that the video was all in a language I don't speak or read (Korean?? not sure, since I don't read it)... 

    So, if this beta isn't in English, then why would MMORPG.com put out the open beta keys?  not sure... I'm hoping they have an English version, otherwise I don't want to be a beta tester... how can I comment or even know what I"m doing if I can't read the instructions and other text???

    well, the closed beta should be in english...

    They keys mmorpg gives out are like the one in LOA. Its for a limited time I think, after the closed beta is released I don't think you can sign up.

    This games similar to Silkroad, just has an imporved style of movement. I don't know much on this game I just saw the vid on youtube so I fugured  people shold take a look.

    I don't want to be Mr Obvious or anything but... DUH!

    And you don't wan't to be a beta tester? This is more or less a move to the international market, it's not closed beta it's a player limited stress test and PR.

    It's not like 'some' western MMO's which regulates after both EU and NA.

    It's only an asian port to English like any other asian MMO that goes international, the original is further in development.

    Well, It don't matter to me a game is a game....

    I might as well see how the game is first-hand.

    Besides it looks good compare to most rpg games that are free.

    hmmm that video kinda reminds me of SRO. hope it's not as bad though.

    also, Angyes, that's the 3rd one of ur posts that does nothing but hav a huge "Oh Well". if u have nothing to say, just don't post nething....

    yea, i kinda liked the 'rage' (?) thing from SRO though. u know, the one where u turn into like a red/black demon looking thing for a few seconds and gives u a dmg n speed boost. other than that.....

    it's usefull if u wanna take out that one 'boss' monster or clear a whole mob or run from one place to another but can't b bothered to get a horse. but yea, this thread isn't about SRO, it's about Hero.

    weapon strokes look very repetitive, but then, unles sthey come up with some VR function, they're always gonna b animations from a library...

    it doesnt look that bad, and its suposed to be pretty popular overseas, im just not in the click to move thing, in todays games its  a pain in the ass, like L2, i like the game but i cant deal with how the game controls, i prefer how WoW and EQ1 and 2 feel as far as the movement

    oh Point to move game ..after playing EQ for so long ...i don't think i can play point to move games . I played diablo 1 and 2 which seem 90% of Koreans games try to clone it in mmo world,but D1 and 2 was fun and had it time...I am so disappointed of Korean games they all seem the same and most are of not all point to move.

    Personally I think everyone should give HO a chance, I reckon it could be ok - not perfect but definately ok.

    So what it's point and click, that isn't specifically a bad thing is it? Sure the Diablo series is outdated but it still has a MASSIVE fanbase regurally playing and who knows maybe the point and click interface will fit perfectly into this engine. Don't damn it until you've tried it and beta testing is all about trying.

    I have nothing against point and click games and i will give HO a try even if it is, but i just dont like them, i didnt play diablo or anything else that is point and click cause it just pisses me off

    Personaly I did not like D1 or D2, game was to simple and the gameplay was not as good as I thought, well Diablo is an old game so back then it was good.

    I am gonna give this game a try, this games like SRO and GW, I have played both games, I like them both but the problem was SRO was to slow in lvling and GW should have more than 20lvls cuse I don't seem to get bored lvling in that game because theres a lot of quests and missions.

    It looks a bit like Martial Heroes, which to me is a good thing.  I liked it when it was D.O., except there was too much untranslated, not enough people for a real community, and ever since playing Fung Wan, I've wanted another martial arts MMO with keyboard run/turn/stop control.  Walking backwards while firing arrows at an enemy wasn't just funny, it made sense.  Keep that distance between you and the enemy, but turn tail and you lose your focus.

    I dunno.  It's not going to be any savior of MMOs, but it might be something playable for once, until something even better comes along.  Also noticed they were translating Yulgang, which is promising too.

    I did not like MH or FW, very bad graphics, but the movements may be similar, not sure.

    Seems that you can downlaod the client on the 14th and you can actually play on the 15th. Only 2 more days
