It is really simple, a bunch of Vanguard players came on here all pissed off their little crappy game is badly rated. They decided to drag down WoW's rating. Get all your friends in WoW to come here and put in 10's for WoW and 1's for Vanguard.
If you have any questions please ask. I have moved on to WoW from eq and no longer have any desire to play a dead game. Thank you. (posted by another selling his account in EQ1)

be sure to have them fill out the comments section. it'd be interesting to see what they have to say.
could we please get correspondent writers and moderators, on the eve forum at mmorpg.com, who are well-versed on eve-online and aren't just passersby pushing buttons? pretty please?
I had mentioned how biased the rating system is and people got offended.
How many WoW players, all 7 million of them, come here and rate games?
I use to think that player ratings were a good idea. Now I find them to be an unreliable distraction.
Don't let the game rating bother you. Everyone knows that WoW is the best MMO that's out and will be for some time. Only a few people will make the mistake of buying a game based on its MMORPG player rating.. and once they do buy a game based on its player rating only to find out that the game sucks they'll learn to ignore the rating as well.

Dude, stats say it all. Yeah, maybe some people are really trying to destroy's wow rating. But 50 people doing this aren't gonna affect the stats much. There has to be a LOT of people to bring down Wow's rating and you can't say this is all from Vanguard assholes. Wow's rating used to be like 8.5 something when it first came out and now it's like....you know what I mean? That's not the work of 50 ppl. The sad truth is that most people still unconsciously tend to follow games that has a high rating. I'm sorry. Games get old and are replaced by new ones.

Go check out World of Warcraft's ratings.
* Based on 6207 total votes.
Stats do say it all.
6207 people have posted their opinion of World of Warcraft.
Last time Blizzard posted numbers they claimed 6.5 Million active accounts.
6207 of 6.5 Million (no doubt the number of past and present players is much higher than current active subscriptions) is .000955% of the people who have played WoW.
That's .000955% if you use the much lower number of active subscriptions and don't take into account the number of MMORPG reviews done by players who haven't ever even played WoW.
