Looks like you can get away with murder here...hell he accused the Admin of fraud, and then spams...
And now I suspect that the stickying occured due to a click in the wrong checkbox... However - what is the purpose of this thread? To make sure that Joel knows that people in general don't want more threads on the given subject? I believe he knows.
Frankly, if the topic could be handled in any other way than
There's OMFG brilliant and that's a fact (AND nothing compares with There)
vs
Not again...
then I might see an interesting exchange of opinions and experiences. Anybody think that's likely to happen? Or has There already been one?
The future: Adellion Common flaw in MMORPGs: The ability to die casually Advantages of Adellion: Dynamic world (affected by its inhabitants) Player-driven world (beasts won't be an endless supply of mighty swords, gold will come from mines, not dragonly dens) Player-driven world (Leadership is the privilege of a player, not an npc)

Nah, he'd probably jump in and ruin it...or he'd jump and and I'd ruin it...
You try to have a discussion with him when he inevitably comes back, the guy is a fruitcake. Make sure to try to compare it with the other social MMORPG, Second Life.

If he were to make one, and only one thread about There, I couldn't care less. But the guy just spams it, and starts a flamewar with others because he won't accept other people's views on the game.

Why do you assume the stickying was a mistake? Also, what proof do you have to say that what I say isn't a fact? People don't present their opinions in my thread, they flame me. It is hopeless, but I have to tell people on this forum about There some how.

Your agument is hopeless too. If Second Life was so superior why would I have switched? If Second Life is so amazing why would the company that owns it say I never made a purchese after I bought 500 dollars worth of virtual land? Huh, explain because I would love to be enlightened.

No, no no. Why was it a mistake? It was a good topic! People don't sticky bad topics and they don't make sticky mistakes, so there.

How so? What makes that point so obvious?
Because you can't have a member made stickied closed topic...
Only an admin or mod made stickied closed topic.
That still doesn't really explain much.
Ok, just grasp the point... Ready to obsorb some information for once? Good, lets start.

Yeah I gathered that much, but why would they sticky it since it holds no purpose to other people because it's SPAM and always ends with a lock? It's obvious to us that it was a mistake, because no mod would sticky such a thread.
