Let me break it down for you. "FREE" "GOOD" "MMORPG"...
The reason you don't see many good MMORPGs that are free is because a few reasons...
When something's free, the game company really doesn't make money to keep the game up-to-date on the graphics, sound, bugs, content, etc... so that in turn makes the game really not "good" sometimes. I know Runescape is about the best damn FREE MMORPG you can find...
You have to remember that some games like EQII has taken millions of dollars and 1000s of hours coding, would you want to make a game that cost that much and then give it out for free? Nothing would ever get done and the company would go bankrupt... (I always wish SOE would...)
So there's really nothing free anymore in today's world. You should be able to cough up $13 a month with ease. Don't buy McDonalds for two weeks, don't rent a movie... whatever you have to do it's well worth the money... for a month you get non-stop action, tons of content, an uber 1337 game and that's only the start...
Trust me mate... save some cash... get a job if you're old enough and enjoy.
