Sheesh... I am starting to feel sorry for these guys abit. It's like their living in MMO hell with no salvation in sight.

Hmmm... its just sad what has happened to them. With such resources at their finger tips they are fumblin at every step. And let's not forget Sony ballzy move to announce @ E3 the $500 price tag on the PS3. I am still having a dificult time justifying paying that much for a console. It looks like i need to get back into shape so i can play Wii with out huffing and puffing all over the place.

    hmm, another "I hate SOE" topic..but no game mentioned..may I ask why you made this topic, we there is a "we hate SOE" sticky in every SOE game section?

    I am not hating. In my statement i just mentioned the pity i feel for them.  as for games do we really need to name them  you got 1400 post to your name sir. figure them out. 

    Maybe some constructive critism and humor can be posted instead of all the hate.

    Yep.  How Lucas could have allowed this farce to happen to one of science fiction's most beloved franchises is still beyond me.

    But hey, a fat sack of money makes people a little crazy in the head, sometimes...

    Where does he say I hate SOE? Did you even read his rather generalized post? I doubt it.

    Anyways, folks love or hate SOE. There isn't a more passionate seesaw in gaming, other than maybe Blizzard love/hate.

    Just so you know, SOE aren't the ones who made PS3. Sony did. SOE is just a section in Sony.

    You seem to forget that LucasArts is in charge of
    1) Concept/Direction (They are the producer)
    2) QA

    SOE is in charge of:
    1) Development
    2) Publication


    So when you are blaming SOE for the problems in SWG you have to give at least equal blame to LucasArts because, at minimum, they have agreed to every single change made to the game AND have allowed every single buggy patch to go live without a peep.  Because:
    They are the producer, any changes MUST be approved by them
    and
    They are the Quality Assurance, any patch that goes live must be approved by them.


    So how you think LEC would "do anything" about the situation is beyond me.  They suck just as bad, actually I blame them more, because they COULD have prevented this mess but did not.

    Hey SOE made one good move, and that was to make planetside, for once they came up with a unique idea and made this game. It was the first in its genre, with more to come. (and unfourtunatley, I may be totally wrong that SOE made Planetside, I just know they run the patches for it)

    You obviously haven't seen the prequels yet have you?
