ToA timesink?

FaultyFaulty Member Posts: 62

Hey mates,

My main characters are Hibs on Gareth. I love Hib and I love classic but I'm interested in some Alb classes too... I have low level characters on Lamorak (highest is level 16) but Lamo/Ector has crap for a population, so I figured I'd roll up on normal. (Lance for Alb, Merlin for Mid). I'm afraid the ToA timesink might kill endgame for me though.

How bad is it and does it really screw up balance? : (

Thank you for any help in advance.

I would nto worry about the balance thing or killing the end game.  If you play a caster, once you experience the benefit of powerfont, you will find it hard to go back to playing on the classic servers.

ToA is a timesink.  It is much easier to do now.  Even casually you can do ToA as long as you can be on when a raid is going to happen and have 2-4 hours to sit down and play.  What I hate most are artifacts.  You will need some of those.  You have to go get credit and then the scrolls.  That is usually not too bad.  Then, you have to level the items.  Nothing like spending a few days killing mobs to get items to level 10.
