    They are two completely different MMOs

    Well this game is kinda like crap. Where as SWG is like interesting crap mybe with a little sugar on it to make it look good.

    ya, star wars galaxy was bad, but this is rediculously unbelievably bad.

    PRE-CU SWG is definately better than FoM more to do better roleplay, but the NGE and CU fucked the game up, though I wouldn't get FoM right away seeing as the game is crap now maybe in another month or two when DPS adds more stuff in.

    LOL about last reaction. I think you said that before the last patch :)

    They added/changed

    First person view (added again, after players asked)
    You dont see enemies anymore on your map (They first wanted an implent to make you invisible, but player just wanted to have it comepletly off. So they did <3 to DPS!)
    Drugs can only be made by the three clans.

    Other update with players wanted is in it for an while:

    You can not stun an target and then kill it.
    well much more, but suppose to work now instead of being here so wont type more :P

    Yah I just saw that shot me back into the game, DPS is really starting to churn out these patches aren't they?

    Yes they are feverishly turning out the patches, as they are also feverishly trying to make this a game.

    Is this game anything like EVE? Not spaceship-wise ofcourse, but i mean freedom wise. I've heard you can get sent to jail and that it's possible to escape! That sounds quite cool, and challenging.

    Yes it is open PvP. And there is also the limited PvP at your homebase. The factions you can join are fixed but they fight for power and territory. There is no skill tree like in eve. All the items are devided by quality level which diver in price and usability to professions. And yes there is a police faction which can arrest people with penalty points to send them to jail.

    This game sounds awesome, i just don't have the cash yet to commit to a month and risk my money being wasted on something i may only play for a few days. Wish there was some trial, but from what i've read there will never be one.

    As the patches increasingly spreads out IG, the more improvement for the overall interface and playability level in FoM will occur, by a vast majority.

    Just wait and see....and find out for yourself.
