Hello, I'm an English-speaking european player, wishing to know if it'd be better for me to start playing on EU or US server. The population on US is bigger, right?
But on the other hand, I don't want RvR fights in the middle of the night, and servers which are almost empty during a normal european playtime. What do you think, which is better?

There are some US servers that have a decent europeon population, mainly smaller fights but if you don't wanna be up till 4 in the morning for primetime US hours than I suggest a europeon server.
I do believe the euro servers are a patch or two behind as well.
I actually checked the server populations, and on most days, there are actually more people on usa servers than euro, even in euro prime time. Using Gareth, the usa classic server, and Glastonbury, the eur classic, as an example:
at 6:30pm gmt, when i logged on, glast was on 740 players approx, at the same time, gareth was on 1100.
There were more people on all of the normal clusters than on the euro english cluster aswell at that same time
and it seems fairly steady like that at the moment aswell.
At the end of the day though, i'd say community makes or breaks the decision. I went on usa as i had friends playing there, mixed with some bad experiences with GOA in the past. If you know people on the euro servers though, may aswell play there. if you're out to meet people, usa is higher pop at the moment, especially on classic servers, and i wouldn't be surprised if there's a few euro events going, as i'm sure there's a decent euro population on gareth already.
