Shields-Up - Beta Testers Required.

We have been working hard during the last few months and are once again looking for more Beta Testers.

Recently we added a whole slew of addons including PVP.

If you like Space based Tick Games we need your help.

Shields-Up is more than just another Tick based game and should keep you busy for weeks if not months.

Travel the Galaxy to earn a Living. Work on upgrading your ship. Gather resources for Crafting or simply have some fun in combat. With player Markets, in Game email and Trade this game should keep you interested for more than the usual 10 minutes a day.

    We appreicate the time and effort put in by those that have been over and signed up in the last few days many thanks. Aslo for the feedback, which is probably the most important thing at this stage.

    For those that havnt looked yet we still need more testers and more feedback is ALWAYS good.

    Shields-Up keeps on getting better! In the last few weeks we have added a whole new plethora of add-ons and made many, many changes. Included in these add-ons is the ability for players to now own their own Mall Store.

    With over 120 Schematics your crafting experience has never been so Rich. Additions of Harvesters and Factory’s now means that you are no longer tied to just flying a ship, you can branch out and become a true entrepreneur.

    Collect the resources required and either craft an amazing array of in game items for yourself or other players or simply open a Mall Store!

    Shields-Up won’t be mastered in a few hours and completed in a month; this game is an open ended persistent Galaxy (Tick Based) game. We are still in the land of Beta but if you’d like to help us out and have something to say then we’d like to hear from you.

    I first checked with the Froum moderators to see if they minded us asking for Beta testers. I see no harm in letting people see there are new additions. I'm hardly spamming the forums. This is my only thread related to SU.

    We are purley looking for more Beta testers. If I were spamming the channel I think your comment might be correct. I'm not. I even took the time to find this thread and update it rather than starting  a new one.

    Ok, let's see... I'm always looking good space based sci-fi. BUT one thing - this game will be free for play or not, i not understand this moment ?

    You have a serverwide regular tick to execute all actions. In the time inbetween the ticks you can make your decisions. It is nice for strategic play when you don't need fluent action.

    Shields Up is a surprising fun game.  It runs in your browser and has a very unique style of game play.  I do not think it is for everyone, but it is worth checking out.  I must say so it isn't too much of a shock to anyone who wants to check it out, it is more like a text based click through space adventure.  Meaning, there isn't a visual 3d environment to fly your ship through.  But all in all it is fun, and believe it or not has PvP. 

    If you aren't obsessed with graphics and want a good fun game that you can play anywhere there is an internet connection, Shields Up is worth a go.
