Cityname "New Amsterdam" changed because of beeing drugrelated

    This is not an attempt to cover for SOE in anyway . But we really don't have the whole story . Now a city named "New Amsterdam" in and of itself , Is in no way against any regulations . But the theme of such a city could be . Now say their cantina or other structures were named with drug referencing ? Does anyone here know for a fact such wasn't the case ?

    There was no direct correlation. It was a GM/CSR over stepping their bounds and nothing to do with SOE directly. SOE is just standing behind a GM/CSR that was an idiot.

    Did the CSR specifically say it was because of a drug related reference?  New Amsterdam is NYC anyway :)  My guess is they don't want you using RL city names in the game, if a reason wasn't given.

    Investigation is a good thing if they trully plan to hold the CSR , accountable for his actions . But that does not mean,  the CSR Didn't have just cause in taking action . Only the CSR and the inhabitants of the city know for sure.

    Well before I quit we did have a Neverland Ranch on Bria and that wasn't exactly known for it's spotless reputation now was it?

    You're right New Amsterdam was NY, and besides the city of Amsetrdam can't be discriminated against purely for one aspect of it's public profile. Maybe they didn't want any references to clogs, tulips and edam cheese?

    More than likely the csr was an ass with nothing better to do and was a bit of a "jobsworth"

    They changed one of my toons names for being offensive.   Which was fun, as it is one of my family names.
