Regular Account A regular account allows you to play the game indefinitely by paying a subscription each month. If you have boxed copy of the game, or if you have purchased the game online, this is the type of account you should select. You will have to enter a valid serial number (CD-Key) to complete the creation of your account and credit it with 1 month or more (according to the CD-Key).
A free trial account allows you to play the game: • Forever (no time limit before paying) • Without XP limit (except for the mobs you'll be able to find) • Without entering a credit card number to create the trial account • Only on Ruins of Silan (access is restricted to the newcomers' island).
To have access to the mainland, you have to convert your trial account into a paying account. You can then continue playing The Saga of Ryzom for only $ 14.95 (£ 8.49 or € 12.90), and your account will be credited with 1 extra month.
In case you unsubscribe, your account - character(s), stats, and community - will be kept for at least 90 days so that you can continue to play later.
Got about 2 hours worth of gameplay in so far, I already like the community and the forums. game is really good performance wise. Comabt and skills system will take a bit of getting used to as will the "different" character models . It's all good so far though.
maybe one day this game will have as good of graphics as DnL..... I was in the same boat. Have not played since beta. They really fixed this gem up thats for sure. Really enjoying it so far. Think im 15 caster 9 fighter. Have not gotten into the crafting yet. will save that for when i cannot get any more xp and need something to do.
Was crazy the other day i saw about 100 players gathered in the newb town there getting ready for a player made event. No lag what so ever either. Think i would bump this games rating up to 8.2. Will need to sub though to check out the rest of the game, but im sure it is just as good, if not better.
So far i am fairly pleased with the graphics on the noobie island...plz god don't compare this game to DnL considering that DnL has to be one of the worst games i ever had the displeasure of playing.
Oh and I was part of that player event on the noob town. It was pretty basic, sovle riddle X to find out where guide Y is and bring him item Z, but still it was pretty fun. my team won and was given a good amount of q30 items.

Its worth coming back and giving the game a try.
