When a game is so flawed that NOT wearing armor gives you better defense than equiping it... that's not an exploit. That's shit coding.
That's like the developers including a "Free experience points" button, then, when people using they get in trouble...

It is shitty coding and anyone who uses it continuosly to his own advantage is exploiting that shitty code. No excuses Seph.

I will give some clues (thye will surely be very useful to you):
Exploit = using an unexpected behavior of a software to your own benefit.
Unexpected behavior of a software = a behavior that was not intented in the devs game design.
Devs = Np3
Ergo....until Np3 states that the mentioned behavior was intented is an exploit.Could you? no? Then it is an exploit.

My point was this... how can you consider unequipping your armor an exploit if it gives you higher defense than having armor on???? It's not anyone's fault except the programmers, who apparently couldn't code a Speak & Spell.
I mean, is it an exploit to put on better armor when you aquire it??? No. Ergo, is it an exploit to take off your armor? Hell no it isn't. Is it shady? Well sure... but, it's not a cheat. It's not a bot, or a script, or a 3rd party program. It's the shit game itself, lol.

Where you draw the line on whether or not its an exploit I would say are the level of mobs you are killing and are you gaining expereince at a rate much faster than intended. Normally I would say killing mobs without any risk such as perching or using armor like Seph makes you invulnerable is an exploit but if thats his only choice then it becomes borderline and one has to look at his rate of expereince. If your killing mobs you could normally kill well then its only a borderline exploit and maybe even neccessary but killing mobs like Seph was doing that he would not normally be able to solo and that provide a lot more exp than he should get is an exploit. What he should have done was stick to mobs jis own level and then he could played with a somewhat clear conscience.
I see what you guys are saying, but, I honestly don't see any problem with what he "did."
It's the crap coding. You don't want people to expliot loop holes? Then patch 'em! It's like giving a little kid a box of matches, then, getting pissed off when he burns the house down. Don't give him the matches in the first place!!!
I think a lot of people beat around the bush here.. You are right, calling "exploit" is really a compnay way of saying "You shouldn't do what we couldn't code."
But.. Always the but.. This DnL crowd likes to slam everyone saying they are immature gamers. Everyone that thinks DnL is a POS is simply a kid that doesn't understand true gaming, doesn't get it..
But guess what.. These mature gamers that full well know this is a bug still use it to their advantage.. If they truly embraced the DnL game they wouldn't take advantage. But they reveal themselves as no more than little achievers that just want to be #1..
